Terms of Service
Last updated: July 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Coastal Empire Wash Company ("we," "us," or "our"), a pressure washing and soft washing company serving the Savannah Coastal Empire and South Carolina Lowcountry. By accessing our website at coastalempirewashco.com or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Agreement to Terms
By requesting a quote, scheduling a service, or otherwise engaging with Coastal Empire Wash Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Services
Coastal Empire Wash Company provides professional pressure washing and soft washing services for residential and commercial properties. Our services include, but are not limited to, house washing, roof cleaning, driveway and concrete cleaning, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and deck and fence restoration.
All quotes provided through our website or by our team are estimates based on the information you provide, including property size, surface types, and the services requested. Final pricing may be adjusted if conditions at the property differ materially from what was described or if additional work is requested on-site.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After 30 days, pricing may be subject to change based on current rates and material costs.
Scheduling and Cancellation
Once a service is scheduled, we will confirm your appointment via email or phone. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee at our discretion.
We understand that weather conditions in the Savannah and Lowcountry region can be unpredictable. If inclement weather prevents us from performing your scheduled service safely and effectively, we will contact you to reschedule at the earliest available date at no additional charge. Weather-related rescheduling is at our sole discretion and is done to ensure both quality results and the safety of our crew and your property.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, equipment failure, or emergencies. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to notify you promptly and reschedule your service.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to the start of work. For larger commercial projects, we may arrange a payment schedule, which will be documented separately.
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and ACH transfer. All electronic payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the agreed-upon amount for services rendered. Your payment information is handled in accordance with Stripe's security standards and our Privacy Policy.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is less.
Property Access and Preparation
To perform our services effectively and efficiently, we require the following from property owners and authorized representatives:
- Access to the property — ensure that we have clear access to all areas where services will be performed, including gates, side yards, and driveways. If the property is gated or requires a code for entry, please provide access instructions in advance.
- Water supply — we require access to a functioning exterior water spigot at the property. Please ensure it is accessible and in working order before our arrival.
- Remove or secure fragile and valuable items — please move or secure potted plants, outdoor furniture, decorations, vehicles, and any fragile or valuable items near the service area before our arrival. While we take great care to protect your property, we cannot be held responsible for items left in the work area.
- Pets and children — for safety reasons, please ensure that pets are secured and children are kept away from the work area during service.
- Vehicle access — please ensure our service vehicle and equipment can reach the work area. If parking restrictions or HOA rules apply, let us know in advance.
You do not need to be present during the service, but you must ensure access is arranged. If we arrive for a scheduled appointment and are unable to access the property, the visit may be treated as a late cancellation.
Limitation of Liability
Coastal Empire Wash Company takes every reasonable precaution to protect your property during service. However, our liability is limited as follows:
- Pre-existing damage — we are not liable for damage that existed prior to our service, including but not limited to cracked or loose siding, deteriorated mortar, rotting wood, peeling paint, compromised caulking, or damaged roofing materials. Pressure washing and soft washing can reveal or exacerbate pre-existing conditions that may not have been visible before cleaning.
- Hidden conditions — we are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions that were not visible or reasonably discoverable during our initial assessment. This includes but is not limited to concealed water damage, deteriorated substrates beneath surface coatings, and aging materials at the end of their useful life.
- Surfaces not suitable for cleaning — certain surfaces, materials, or coatings may not be suitable for pressure washing or soft washing. If we identify such conditions, we will inform you and may decline to service those areas. If we are instructed to proceed despite our recommendation, we are not liable for resulting damage.
- Maximum liability — in no event shall our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not fully satisfied with our work, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion. We will return to inspect the area in question and, if warranted, perform a re-clean of the affected area at no additional charge.
Our satisfaction guarantee covers the quality of cleaning performed and does not extend to the following:
- Stains or discoloration caused by conditions beyond our control (such as rust, tannin, or deep-set oil stains that cannot be fully removed through standard pressure washing or soft washing methods).
- Pre-existing damage or conditions that were present before our service.
- Normal re-soiling that occurs after service due to weather, tree cover, or environmental factors.
Re-clean requests made after the 48-hour window may be accommodated at our discretion and may be subject to additional charges.

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Coastal Empire Wash Company and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coastal Empire Wash Company, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Chatham County, Georgia.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
